A Merry Making Clown

Image
A clown is smiling His job is to make everyone merry Oh wow! he is lucky He is always happy His feet were never on ground Not flying yet Still he is a clown of highest rate Apparently he can muse anyone He looks funny A red blushes of his cheek The bulb on this nose And those are his world To keep people merry To make himself lucky He blows a kiss to the direction He doesn't get a kiss blown back But he knows it isn't a rejection So he is all in track Making merry everyone Spreading smile at every face As he believes circus is only his place

Still Yet not So

Image
Still... yet not still ...Yet still A still happy life That's what I seek Like still snaps Nothing changes there Colourful and yes colourless too But smiles remain so Faces that keep the glow Like still snaps remain Hope love moves in a smooth lane I don't deny sadness Crawling to love sweetness and endless Only a virtuous girl rises and sets in a single arm Linings of hands if prove so, need to set my palm Who would I tell it to? Who would I explain it to? Not the dull one but I really seek for still life Still... yet not still ...Yet still, stable, systematic and smooth

State shrinks Public Sphere

State shrinks Public Sphere Since the time of Aristotle, political philosophers have contemplated the relationship between citizens and between citizens and political society as a whole and between citizens and state…   Today public sphere stands for an ideal for the construction of a democratic society in which public scrutiny of governmental policies moves beyond the boundaries of formal politics and acts as critical resource for the legitimization of these policies, integrating citizens into political community as whole, and protecting individual’s freedom and equality. Gurcan Kocan Kocan states that the established system within a state is achieved through public sphere. He solely gives credit to public sphere formed by individual citizens. In that respect I argue, at the present context for various reasons public sphere is unable to function effectively because state imposes it. In my paper, I am trying to explain under sub headings: a) State and its role in public s...

Will to Power and Peace

Will to Power and Peace Human beings strive to move on. They endeavor for successive mode of life. In this regard, philosophies on power and peace are definitive dichotomies which dominantly set path to move on.   Philosophers like Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Darwin unfold tendency of human beings to move on.   These philosophers analyze human’s will to move ahead: Schopenhauer argues its will to live that keeps them going, conversely Nietzsche claims its will to power and on the other hand for Darwinian postulates, its survival tendency of human being that keeps them moving ahead. Other advocacies on peace are relevant to keep things whole and to strive to move on for human beings. So I am also reviewing eastern philosophies on Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism; these philosophies counsel peace with virtue to keep human beings moving forward. Schopenhauer’s Will Schopenhauer’s believes in will- to live. He uses a term, Will to describe desire to represent everythi...

The Inheritance of Loss

Image
Loss of Rights in The Inheritance of Loss In the present context, the concept of Rights has been confined within citizens of state. Who doesn’t belong to state where he is living has to face problems and seeks for permanent way to be citizen of that state. The case is pretty same with minor groups. Here rights means right to the city, rights of man and rights of citizens. In my paper I argue that Kiran Desai’s The Inheritance of Loss projects immigrants and minority group seeking for their rights. Her work is an example to explain how immigrants have to face troubles and huddles in life which are caused by lack of rights. The concept of rights exists only among few major groups but immigrants and minority groups are deprived of rights. Those immigrants in Kalimpong and America long for rights provided to citizens as they lack it in foreign lands and likewise minor groups Lepcha, Bhutia, Tibetan, and along with them Nepali who were migrated to Darjeeling during British rule and wh...
