New Yet Not New, Swopnil Rang Ma by Harish Mathema
Yesteryears remarkable singer Harish Mathema has released his popular song "Swopnil Ranga Ma" with slightly new changes. The singer has reworked on the single and released it on the Youtube channel of Santana Records on 13 August 2020. The song is penned by Bhupendra Raimajhi. He is also the music director of the song. The lyrics of the song speaks of the feeling of a lover as he recalls his beloved. The lover calls her an angel from heaven. The song has been released with the new music video yet it carries the soothing sweetness as the old song does.
This was a song which he sang for the voice test in Radio Nepal during his heyday in the musical industry. The medium of video was not possible back in those days. Yet the song was very popular among the listener. It is going a nice treat to the fans of the song. The song carries a nostalgic note with a slightly seductive sensation. The video includes a glimpse of an old tape recorder with a mesmerizing melody. A song worth listening over and over again and video to watch in a new taste. And my suggestion to the 90's kids -don't miss the first forty seconds of the video.
He hasn't failed to amaze his fans with his singing skill. Despite being in the singing filed for more than 30 years, he seems to be reluctant to make videos which is why listeners can't get to watch videos so many memorable and hit songs sang by him. Let's wish fans of Nepali songs would get to listen to his new singles soon with good music videos.
From my point of view, the audio of the song can charm the new listeners as well but the video could have been better. The video director of the song is Rabin Shrestha. He had done good job with the basic storyline of the song which is simple and the fans of the Mathema can relate to the story but he could have worked on the sequence of the song more effectively.
The video features Ukusha Giri and Manish Shrestha. Both of the models have done well. The female model has more screen space than the male that's beyond expectation since the song is in male vocal. Yet it is justifiable since the song also features the singer.
I believe there are thousands of Mathema's fans who would simply adore the new version of the song with the video.
