How is Ayushman Deshraj an opportunist?

Soon after Aushman Deshraj posted about his new upcoming, his ability to project the case of the first-ever transgender woman on screen has been questioned by some of the gender critics. 

The major issue is his gender identity. He is a cisgender man that's why it has been claimed that one who accepts the gender identity would be unable to portray the emotion of the transgender woman. 

He is going to do a series based on Danish artist Einar Wegener named The Metamorphic Manifesto who did the first-ever documented sex reassignment surgery and popularly known as Lili Elbie afterward. The Hollywood movie The Danish Girl, based on her story was already a hit that was released in 2015. The series is the Nepalese adaptation of the remarkable personalities in the history of art. 

The Hollywood flick featured Eddie Redmayne was criticized for doing the role of Lili and no wonder! Aushman was found reprehended by commenters on social media. This is why he tried to answer them who had questions about his ability to project him as a transgender woman through his social media. He posted an apology story on Instagram accepting the mistake his team has made. While clarifying the matter he wants people to understand that doing a role he is neither being opportunist nor snatching a job of a real transgender. He made a request to resolve the matter with less animosity. The posted words foregrounded with rainbow color depicts his awareness of the issues of gender.
